The Dirty Video Mixer gives a nod (wave) to all your VHS and synthwave fantasies in picture form. A much finer mixer could be purchased, but such mixers have such unnecessary novelties as time based correction and spectral finesse. But spectral finesse doesn t make your video look like a poorly tuned television station from the golden years of television excellence. The DVM is perhaps the most aptly named product we ve made to-date. It gets its je ne sais quoi by smashing two video signals together to produce nostalgic looking bad video.

The fader on top is a crossfader that mixes the two incoming video signals, which it can do fairly cleanly. The MIX switch turns on glitch mode, and the TRIM control changes the glitch effect.

The circuit is passive, so no batteries needed. Get mixing!
